Walking through Donbas’s forests and meadows, even though they are right next to the frontline, you cannot feel the
evils of war. In fact, here it is possible to forget about them. In a time of peace, it would be a perfect place to rest and escape from the noise of big cities. Today, just a few metres away there is no man’s land, a strip of territory between the Ukrainian-controlled and separatist-controlled areas. The enemy can shoot anytime and everything is very simple.
